I am educated as a fisheries/marine biologist from the University of Bergen and am now working for the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research. In my job, I get to travel a lot on research surveys, mostly in the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea, where I use the opportunities to take photos of whales, landscapes, people, etc. I started with photography in 2010 and since then I have been in several countries around the world, experienced many wonderful encounters with wildlife, met interesting people and witnessed amazing sceneries. I have always wanted to share the beauty I see and my camera helps me do that.
